Recovery

Recovery is not an event, it is a process that requires treatment. Treatment and recovery represent a continuous process rather than a single moment. Once past detoxification, participants can qualify for our residential recovery homes. These homes are traditional-style residences conveniently located near freeways and public transportation.

Recovery is a transformative experience, involving profound emotional change and acceptance of addiction as a disease. Participants learn to recognize how addiction impacts their daily lives, behaviors, and emotions. During this phase, individuals undergo significant changes and require ongoing support from peer groups, family, and friends. Our dedicated staff is available to assist both participants and their family members. If you have questions about the recovery journey, we encourage you to contact our program director directly.

Family Group Support

The family plays an essential role in the recovery process, serving as an immediate source of comfort and encouragement. It is crucial for both the recovering individual and their family members to see that rebuilding relationships is possible, even in situations that may seem hopeless or fractured.

Many families share similar struggles, such as strained relationships or lost trust, often accompanied by feelings of shame or isolation. Loved ones frequently express sentiments like, “I just want my mother/father/son/daughter/spouse back.” Both the recovering individual and their family may experience frustration and despair, but healing is possible through mutual effort and understanding. Together, individuals and their families begin rebuilding and restoring bonds.

Addiction Education

Participants in these groups gain valuable knowledge about the psychological and physical effects of addiction. Addiction exerts a significant toll on mental health and often requires time and effort to overcome. Furthermore, many addicts and alcoholics face physical challenges stemming from substance abuse.

During these sessions, participants explore the concept of physical addiction and learn about how substance abuse impacts the brain and internal organs. Addiction is a progressive illness that worsens without treatment. By understanding the science behind addiction, participants are better equipped to embrace recovery and commit to lifelong change.

Our program provides a comprehensive approach to recovery, addressing emotional, physical, and relational needs. If you or a loved one are ready to begin this transformative journey, reach out today to learn more.
